Open Shutters
October 5, 2008, 4:00 PM - Wow, October Sneaked Up On Us

Well, we had another busy month! It was a lot of fun! One particularly exciting photo shoot was in Birmingham, Alabama at the home of one of our bride's relatives. Mitsue and I spent the day at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, as well as at her aunt's goregous home, taking advantage of all of the beautiful surroundings. It was an incredible opportunity. I know her wedding is going to be equally as beautiful. Be sure to check back for some wedding and birthday party pictures to be posted in the near future.

September 7, 2008, 8:00PM - A Fun, Busy Month-Steph

We have had an amazingly busy five weeks, which has been awesome. However, we have slacked off on our blogging. Sorry! We have done several engagement sessions and other photography shoots. Plus, we have met some really nice couples who have hired us for their weddings in 2009.  Thanks to everyone who has hired us! We are really looking forward to everyone's weddings and engagement sessions!

July 25, 2008, 8:15PM - A Friend's Wedding - Steph:

Last night, we met with my long-time friend, Mitsue, and her fiancee, Robert, to talk about their wedding, which is scheduled for next June. We are so excited about their upcoming engagement session and wedding! Ron and I took a couple of shots just so we could share them with you, and the couple of course!  Mitsue and I went to the bridal shop so she  could try on the dress for me, and she is going to be stunning!

July 18, 2008, 9:35PM - Changes - Stephanie:
I am so proud of my computer savvy husband! He did such a great job developing our new website. I am very excited to be able to present my photography in a new way. We have had so many awesome clients this past year. I feel so fortunate to be invited to spend such a special day with some wonderful couples. I am really looking forward to our upcoming weddings and other photo-related opportunities.

July 18, 2008, 8:15PM - Going Live - Ron:

Ok, we couldn't wait any longer. A few features are still in the works, but the new site is about 80% complete, we just need to add "About Us," "Pricing," and clean up the cropping on some of the gallery images.  The gallery is a mixed blessing - while we love our customers being able to scroll through our images in a nice clean interface, it also means losing some control to the aspect ratio of the flash animation, resulting in a few less-than ideal crops.  Also the images are much smaller and lower resolution than we are used to showing, we may add a hi-res gallery later.

July 17, 2008, 6:15PM - New Website - Ron:
Well, we finally got started on our new website. As the company's 1 year anniversary approaches, we realised that most of the shots on our website are nearly a year old - time to remedy that.  We also decided to join the 21st century and add a "Buy Prints" option. Instead of buying the same flash templates everyone else is using, we decided to keep it simple and do the work ourselves.  Keep watching for new updates!
